Tonight's matchups

Every player with a line tonight, against tonight's opponent: her average in their meetings, her baseline, and whether the sample is big enough to say they differ.

Tested on past seasons: head-to-head splits, minutes increases and playoff minute bumps have not beaten the closing line. Price is the only thing that has. How we tested

Reading tonight's lines and every player's meetings with her opponent…

How to read this, and how we tested it

What we tested. Before this page was built we checked each idea on it against the posted closing line at its price, on past seasons:

  • WNBA regular season, head-to-head splits marked measured: 1,464 props. They landed 0.1 percentage points less often than the closing price implied with the bookmaker's margin removed (likely range −4.0 to +3.6).
  • Overs on players projected for more minutes than usual, a rule written down before the test: 1,144 props, 1.9 points less often than the closing price implied, return −11.8%.
  • NBA playoff overs on players projected for more minutes: 6,354 props, 2.2 points less often, return −10.4%.
  • Both together, WNBA 2026 overs: return −15.7%.

None beat the price. That is why nothing on this page is a pick, nothing is colored as good or bad, and every line sets her season record against the price instead.

Measured, directional, not measurable. The words come from our data service, unchanged. Measured means the gap is about twice the size that normal game-to-game swings would produce; directional, about the size of those swings; not measurable, smaller than that. Under 8 meetings we mark it not measurable whatever the gap. Luck alone makes some splits read measured: reshuffling players' own games on past slates made about 7.5% of them read measured, and the page prints that count beside the real one. Both counts are single stats only: combined props add up the same games, so they are counted apart. About 70% of measured splits point under, because of how the test treats counting stats — another reason not to read them as picks.

Usual, or her form. The number her meetings are compared with. Until our data service's September 2026 change it is her average against every other opponent since 2021, and the column says Usual. After it, each game is compared with her own form going into it — her average over the 10 games before — so meetings from an earlier role are judged against that role; the column then says Her form and shows what her form said for these meetings, adjusted by how she ran against her form in her other games. Each player's card names which.

This season. Every game she played this season at tonight's line, with pushes left out. We do not narrow it to games where she played tonight's minutes: that keeps only games chosen after the fact and raises over rates by about 9 points. The price that rate needs is 1 ÷ the rate, in American odds; under 10 decided games it is not priced. The best posted price is the best payout among books quoting both sides within 30 minutes of the freshest quote on that prop, before the tip.

Cleared vs opp. How often she went over tonight's line in this season's meetings, then in every meeting since 2021. The long count mixes roles: a bench year's meetings sit beside tonight's starter line.

Minutes tonight / line. Her projected minutes (RotoWire), or her last-10 average when there is no projection, beside tonight's line divided by her season rate per minute for that stat. It is context and the table does not sort by it: overs on players projected for more minutes than a line assumes lost to the closing price (above).

Notes. A playoff note counts the playoff games inside her meetings. A role-change note appears when her minutes tonight differ from her minutes in those meetings (or, before our data service's change, in her usual games) by more than 25% either way and by at least 5 minutes.

Main line. The line the most books are quoting now — within 30 minutes of the freshest quote on that prop — with ties going to the line quoted most recently; other lines are counted and hidden. Quotes after the tip are in-play and never count, and a game past its tip leaves the page. Combined stats (points + rebounds + assists and the rest) are sums of the same games, so they stay out of the table unless you ask for them, and fold under each player on the cards.

Flags. Signed in, you can flag any row over or under. We log it at the best price posted at that moment (the same rule as the best posted price above), beside the books' fair chance at that line with their margin removed, and keep the row's numbers as you saw them. It locks at tip, takes the closing price at tip, and is graded at the final off the box score. It is your own record: nobody else sees it, and it is never in our picks, our record or our tests. Your scorecard sets your flags against the rows you did not flag at similar prices, because none of the reasons on this page has beaten the closing price.
